Course Overview

Entering maternal health settings, this semester prepares learners for practical midwifery care by integrating maternal anatomy, obstetric equipment, procedural sequencing, and visually guided clinical priorities.
This enables students to understand the flow of maternity care, supporting safe practices for mothers and newborns.

Course Objectives

At the end of the course completion, learners will be able to:

  2. Assist in normal labor and childbirth procedures.

  3. Apply immediate care principles for mothers and newborns.
