Course Overview

Transitioning into pediatric care, this semester focuses on hands-on nursing skills for infants and children, presented through developmentally relevant anatomy, child-specific equipment, step-wise care techniques, and clear visual guidance.
This supports learners in delivering safe, age-appropriate, and family-centered pediatric nursing care.

Course Objectives

At the end of the course completion, learners will be able to:

  1. Perform pediatric assessments using age-appropriate techniques.

  2. Apply safe nursing interventions for infants and children.

  3. Administer medications accurately to pediatric patients.

  4. Demonstrate effective communication with children and caregivers.
