Course Overview

This course on Patient Assessment and monitoring equips nurses with the practical skills needed to assess patients accurately and make informed clinical decisions. It focuses on strengthening foundational assessment techniques that help nurses recognize early signs of deterioration, understand changes in a patient’s condition, and respond appropriately during both routine care and emergencies. The content supports nurses in developing sound clinical judgment, improving communication during handovers, and ensuring timely escalation when a patient’s condition changes.

For hospitals, this course enhances the quality of bedside assessment, strengthens early-warning systems, and reduces missed or delayed recognition of patient decline.

Upon successful completion, participants receive the AHPI certificate in Patient Assessment and monitoring, a valuable recognition for nurses committed to delivering safe, high-quality patient care and advancing their professional growth.
