Course Overview

This course prepares nurses to respond effectively during clinical emergencies by strengthening first-response skills and readiness. It focuses on structured actions, prioritisation, and coordination during emergency situations.

The course supports nurses in managing emergencies confidently while ensuring patient safety. For hospitals, it strengthens emergency preparedness and frontline response capability.

Upon completion, participants receive the AHPI Certification in Emergency Preparedness.

Course Objectives

1.    To prepare nurses to initiate timely and appropriate first-response actions during clinical emergencies.

2.    To strengthen nurses’ confidence and competence in performing emergency care skills in real-time situations.

3.    To support hospitals in maintaining readiness and coordinated response during emergency situations.
