Course Overview

This module equips learners to provide holistic, compassionate, and dignified care to patients and families facing life-limiting or terminal illnesses. Learners will explore principles of symptom management, communication, ethical decision-making, and culturally sensitive end-of-life care, in alignment with INC guidelines.

Mode of Delivery:

  • Online: Theory resources and assessments.

  • Offline: Demonstrations, hands-on practice, role plays, and feedback.

Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this module, learners will be able to:

  • Explain the philosophy and scope of palliative care.

  • Identify and manage common symptoms in palliative patients.

  • Demonstrate effective communication with patients and families

  • Provide holistic support addressing physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs.
